The renewal fee will be based upon vehicle type, weight and model year. Handicapped vehicle owners and owners above sixty five years of age can avail a seven dollar discount on renewal fee. You can apply for vehicle registration refund by completing and submitting a refund application. Blind and service disabled veterans can avail free car registration provided that they meet certain requirements. Active members of the armed forces are not required to renew their registrations.
The registration documents will be sent to your mailing address that is in MVC records. You must make certain that the address mentioned on the renewal certificate is up to date. If not then you must change it. Vehicle owners must also get emissions check every two years. Registration decals are not issued by MVC anymore.
